Tor Eigil Hodne
Tor Eigil Hodne holds a master degree  in political science (cand polit) from the University of Oslo and the University of Århus, Denmark, with emphasis on European identity and integration. He has worked extensively with non-formal learning and youth policies, both in Norway and internationally.

From 2000 to 2005 he worked for the European Commission in Luxembourg, with internet education programmes. Since 2005, Hodne has been responsible for research, culture, innovation and education at the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in Brussels, connecting the knowledge policies of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland to the EU.

Hodne has published several books, articles and leaflets on European identity and the knowledge society. He lectures regularly on EU education and research policies.

Hodne is working with a PhD within Memeus Research Foundation on EU knowledge governance and complexity theory. "
